December 2020 meeting canceled, but we will have virtual medals competition and will be raising money for charity.

Additional restrictions have been placed on restaurants as a result of Covid-19 cases continuing to rise. These tightened guidelines affect Mecklenburg Gardens and our Club. So unfortunately we have decided to cancel the in-person December 12, 2020 meeting.

BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE…

FIRST; We are continuing our annual holiday tradition of raising money for local charities. While we won’t have the normal Split-the-Pot funds, we hope you will donate via our GoFundMe page. We are accepting contributions until December 20. All money donated will be evenly split and given to (1) Ronald McDonald House, and (2) Ruth Lyons Children’s Fund.

SECOND; Medals Competition will happen VIRTUALLY on Saturday, December 12, 2020. You will be participating from home on Saturday morning, and there are just 3 Rules to follow:

1. Have a paid 2020 Membership

2. Drink (chug) a full beer. Half liter or larger required.

3. Send us a photo* to prove you completed successfully.

   *Photo(s) must be submitted Saturday, December 12, 2020, no later than 11pm EST
